Rev War Hat Plate

Copper French Shako hat plate found in Western Hanover County, Virginia near the place Lord Cornwallis crossed The North Anna River in route to Yorktown, VA. He was followed by the French Army under Marquis de La Fayette who was camped with Gen Washington at the Old Manson in Caroline County, VA.  The handsome plate measures 3.08 inches x 3.54 inches. Rare Rev War artifact.
