Gary Birch Contemporary Quill Hunting Pouch

Rare quill French and Indian War pouch signed under the strap by master artist, Gary Birch, Cincinnati, Ohio (8 ½” X 13 1/3”). Colorful quills applied in a floral pattern on brain tan elk hide with an applied quill border. The strap is brain tan elk leather with applied quill-work and the leather is backed with a dark blue trade wool cloth that is hand stitched. I purchased this pouch form Gary at Jerry Nobles Show in the 1980s. Beautiful quill-work of the French and Indian War style.
