Clay Pipe found at Site of the Siege of Yorktown – 3″ long
Neat small decorated clay pipe excavated at the site of the Siege of Yorktown. One side of the stem is marked Kingston the other side of the stem is marked J. Vin////G.
During the 18th century decorated clay pipes were import from Kingston, Jamaica.
Neat artifact – Hard to find battlefield excavated pipes especially pipes that are marked. The stem on this pipe has been broken and the decorated bowl is chipped.
