Broad Ax
Hand-forged 18th century broad ax found in Hanover County, Virginia. Excavated on a farm just west of Scotchtown, the home of Patrick Henry. This is a neat pre – Revolutionary War hand-forged broad axe that was forged by a blacksmith that understood the shape of a blade needed to hand-hew logs for log cabins and barns. This item has a lot of “Virginia” character! Listed a little expensive to cover expensive pre-paid shipping cost due to weight.
